7 Wood Floors - Herringwide set 1 ( True Chevron )

Chevrons is french for rafters. Rafters floors are rather cool. When waking up, or really late at night, suddenly the floor seems to be alive as if rafters were stairs. The floor becomes a sea of strange waves or moving staircases, the floor just becomes a different plane of reality, a 3D world in itself, beneath the surface.

Of course, it is not the case, but it does showcase a certain elegance. Rafters floor are a challenge to all seeking perfect patterns. Those floors are oddly satisfying in themselves even if they are perfect. Also, rafters floors just look like a hell of work.
