First of all, I tried to use the "search" option to find an answer to this question, but it wasn't working last night. And I found in the bugs thread a mention of this problem, but that didn't cure my problem.

I had created the young adults to attend university and the entire bunch graduated. When it came time to send them out in the world and back to the neighborhood, I called the cab and it arrived but the one who had called the cab just stood there. I clicked for him to go to the cab and he moved a short distance then stopped. There was no options when I tried to click on the cab. I used the move_objects cheat and removed the cab, after that he moved around better.

Since then, that lot is extremely laggy and each person that I have tried to send home moves a little then stops, as though they have forgotten what I've told them to do.

I tried deleting that character with the move_objects cheat as someone elsewhere suggested. That only got my graduated Sims back to a Junior. I quit the game without saving, went back in and they were graduated. Someone here suggested that they couldn't leave college until they had had a graduation party. I tried that, and that didn't work.

I'd like to get them out of college and back home, is there any fix for this?

Yes, twojeffs has two bug fixes in hack/game download area. It worked great for my sims to go home to their neighborhood.

I still haven't found that particular hack.

I am having same problem but mine started with none of them ever going to a final exam. They did finally manage to graduate but none are returning home. I did find that a house I had downloaded has the phone hack in it and I used the Sim2Pack Clean Installer to get rid of that. So far that didn't solve my problem. I hope we can both find a solution.

I found it after doing the search. The search option was not working last night. Not all of us are as dumb as we seem.
