Provides additional locking options useful for securing main entry doors:
  • Household and Best Friends
  • All Residents and Friends
They permit best friends with any member of the household to pass. The second option also allows all inhabitants of the current dormitory in addition to the household and friends. These locks can usually be kept permanently in place on perimeter gates to protect the lot from unwanted visitors with destructive intent.

The active lock type is shown on the pie menu for information and to reduce menu item shifting.

Ungrants the ability for ungreeted or leaving visitors to pass locked doors. It is now possible to lock a person in a room and let him out manually, the same way as when he entered. Visitors leaving can pass outer gates locked by the household.

People influenced to clean by a family member can pass his household doors. Visitors invited for a sleepover, houseguest and party guests can pass household friends doors.

Forbids non-supernatural service NPCs passage through me-only and completely locked doors. Hirable NPCs are able to open "household" and "household & friends" doors, for which they're supposedly been given keys upon hiring, or let in by the host during a guided tour.

Garage doors may be locked like any other to make people use a regular door. Mod authors of cloned garage doors would have to add these interactions.

Owned hotel and dormitory doors have all the same options that can be invoked without any time passing, including Allowing Pets.

Apartment doors have their special exceptions removed on other lot zoning. The default lock of employees shall allow the current family to pass.

Some people can pass through opposite gender doors: ghosts, business staff when the store is closed, outgoing and sloppy, anybody who is in the wrong bathroom already. Only NPCs who potentially have work in bathrooms are exempt from gender doors.

Hotel doors can be locked on commlots.



Flavor pack - Doors of Hotels on Commlots Locked:

Makes new hotel doors on unowned community lots locked by default to create player owned spaces. Anybody can pass them from the inside and they are permitted to be unlocked.

Flavor pack - Doors Close When Near Small Objects:

This small related mod makes a door not consider itself blocked when touching objects hanging from the ceiling, attached to a wall or permitted to be walked over. It should not be installed when doors are desired to remain open.
