Here is an attempt to fill out the Doctor Who fold with another companion. She may be an unusual choice to start, but I feel that I managed to capture an excellent likeness, something I haven't quite managed with either Jo Grant or Sarah Jane Smith, which are current works in progress.

Before Scully, there was Liz Shaw, a brilliant scientist reluctantly recruited to investigate the strange and unusual. She was Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge Stewart's choice for UNIT's scientific advisor, until the third Doctor, recently regenerated and exiled to Earth by the Time Lords arrived. She and the Doctor dealt with Autons and Silurians among other things before she returned to Cambridge, fed up with playing second fiddle.
