i like the idea, but that's a bit too small for me, i wouldnt be able to tell the difference. if theres any way you could do a version with a smaller, lighter blue border however, i would greatly appreciate it

I've been waiting all this time to be something I can't define.

I like it. It gives me more screen space back. Thanks

How do you get more screen space back? All it does is alter the icons, not the UI shape.

Yeah. Do people not understand what this does?

It changes the icons, not the UI itself. In University and Nightlife, on Wants that give you Influence Points, there are blue borders around them. This mod changes that blue border to a little blue square so you can see the icons better.

that teeny blue square at the top left of the 2nd want and fear there?

looks useful for those the big outline might frustrate, but i'm so daft that I probably wouldn't even notice it! *grin*

It might be more clear to people if you showed a "before and "after" screen shot to clarify just what it is your mod does. Just a thought.

It is so hard to see a very small blue square in the after picture. Why do you think that maxis big blue square borders are so ugly?

Update: July 2009-I am back now to make invisible and tranparent recolors again in sims 2. You can pm me if you want your objects to be invisible and transparent from now.

thank you, this is great and I was getting tired of seeing the blue borders, makes everything look off balance. (actually I didn't realize they were influence point wants at first, lol)
so THANKS!! great job.

Thank you so much for this, I personally dislike the influence aspect of the game entirely and although this doesn't get rid of it it does tidy up the wants and fears nicely so its not an extra pointless distraction.

Very good idea! I like these kind of stuff: neat and simple, yet useful.
Thanks for thinking of it, blue triangle is better looking than blue border, to my eyes.
