Where can you download the stairs? I have tried to delete them but it won't alow me....along with the post support so I can edit the house. :salute: Thank you! BTW GREAT House and design I love it

Anything not listed under Custom Content is a Maxis object.

Ctrl-click on the stairs to delete them in build mode. I'm not sure what post support you're referring to (a column? a foundation? a window boundary?) - usually, one just clicks on a column and drags it down to the dialogue box to delete.

If you don't mind my asking: what are you changing? That way, I know how to build a better house next time.

awe, you built a great house. I just need to make a small one. For some reason it lags. And the more things I have I can'e speed up the game. So I am trying to make it smallier. I can not delete the stairs it says can't not move object. and i have put in the cheat. ANd I tried everything.

Well, I did have to put in a LOT of boulders to contain the pool, and I have a fast computer, so I forget about lagging issues.

But I'm intrigued by the stairs problem. Let me get this straight: it's the inside stairs that you want to delete, the ones that go up next to the garage? You could pack up the lot and send it to me, and I'll try deleting the stairs. If I succeed, I could then re-package it and send it back to you. I'm curious about why my lot works and yours doesn't.

yes it's the stairs next to the garage and the minni stairs on the first floor. It will not let me move, delete or anything to the object. It's very strange.....

Try deleting, re-downloading and re-installing. It's fine in my game and in many others, so I don't think it's the lot. I have had problems with terrain paints on other people's lots, and this lot uses them for the pool. Make sure that you install them with the lot (they're included, but maybe you deleted them in Clean Installer?), or it definitely won't work.

VictoriaRosemajenta, I deleted the stairs and sent the lot back to you. It would have been nice for you to reply and let me know if that solved your problem.
