Like I said...I'm not a Trekkie....this was made as part of a research project I'm working on into making fully working facial accessories...basically it was a trial piece...with no Trekkie research or anything.... my apologies for that....

The light does only go in one direction....sorry again.....

note to self: don't make any more 'Trekkie' things......mumble mumble....

Could this be any more cool? I think not!

I met Levar Burton at a party some years ago and he's one of the nicest guys you could meet. It's going to be fun to put Geordi in my game!

Thanx bob!

It's no problem. It'd look weird if you use it to make a Cylon Centurion, but at least it'd be a step close to it.

I'm happy because there's a Sim of Sandrine Holt for The Sims 2.

Hey, bob, this is quite spectacular!

I thought about making a visor a few days ago, but I think I can spare me the work.. :D

And if you need a trek- (or other scifi) consultant, just ask me... :o)

Keep up the cool and very inspiring work!!!

happy simming,
Xanathon

Yay, my Geordi Sim can finially have his visor. He has his optic implants, but with the uniform he's wearing, he needed the visor instead. Thank you, thank you much!

Now that we know that the animated version only goes in one direction currently, is there any way that you could make it go back and forth? Thanks in advance.

WTF MATE??? Take that cylon tag off... its NOT a cylon viser... you know why? because it looks nothing like it exept for the red dot... its porly done, the red dot doesnt even go in the right direction(it goes left then right then left... kinda like its bouncing of the sides) and the only "human" cylons that are called ctlon agents dont have visors... only the "tosters" and the cylon vipers have the visers... that is just crap... AND ITS NOT FROM STARTREK!!! ITS FROM BATTLESTAR GALLACTICS!!!

Korgone X,

He's not a sci-fi series fan, man. Be easy on him. It's a tester.

Boblishman,

I don't know how you did it, and I don't care how "accurate" it is.

You are THE MAN.

Chill, like he said he not a treckie (just by saing that you can see he didn't mean to be a cylon thing in the first place.) He just made a re-color of the Star Treck viser and Delphy said it made the sim look like a cylon so he used that name. Chill, man.

um... yeah...

Even with a (not-so-simple) simple pair of glasses you can amaze everyone! Good work! Keep it up...

Know this is a late post, but I'm a Trekkie too and I think this is superb work. And Korgone before you criticise make sure you can spell BATTLESTAR GALACTICA not GALLACTICS!!!. And using Cylon throughout as you have already done so is handy too. I can stare forever at your "paragraph/grammatical nightmare" and pick bits out. Sorry had to get that off for knocking this excellent work. Thanks very much for this. GEORDI CAN SEE!! YAY Oh yeah and viser, is spelt Visor sorry Korgone.

Ah! Alas, my Geordikins is no longer blind! Perhaps now he won't walk in on Deanna whilst she's in the bath... not that he'd see anything Thank you muchly! Is there any chance you could convert it to TS3? That would be SOOO much appreciated I'm very desperate! I tried ever so hard but I failed
