Good god, what an idiot.

If he has such a problem with children buying innappropriate videogames, why don't he tell these so-called angry "parents" to monitor their children like real parents do, and take responsibility for their children's actions instead of blaming the world for their parenting mistakes?

It is the parent's responsibility to raise their child, not everybody elses.


Plus, isn't a child going to grow up better adjusted and prepared for the world if instead of sheltering them, the parent exposes their children to the negative influences in media today and discusses these negative influences at length? My parents did, and I have to say that it made me cautious and aware when I started living on my own about the dangers out there. I felt mature enough and secure enough that I knew what dangerous situations to look out for, and I plan to raise my son the same way.

It sure beats the alternative of sheltering your child all their life, and then sending them out into the world without any sort of phsycological defense or street-smarts, becoming prey to the negative and dangerous people in our society and eventually finding their body in a gutter somewhere.

Or worse.... they could become Jack Thompson.
