[
CENTER]Thanks, nice job. I worked for Ponitac Motor Div., GM in 1965 when GTO was hot.

DeLorean was the chief there. (you know he also broke away and formed the Delorian Motor Car ...the stainless steel car? You remember the "gull wing"?) A real engineer.

Iacocca was over Ford and responsible for the Mustang....both great automobiles.

Engineers thought how to build a great car...later came the "bean counters", who thought in terms of how to save a nickel and make it cheaper. That was the beginning of the downfall of great automobiles. (Just my opinion and experience)

Oh, I think Townsend was at Chrylser and responsible for the Charger..another great car.

Sorry I blather on so much, but this is my views on the auto industry.

Spongy.

Ps..you remember or know why the auto makers had to limit the speedometer to 80 mph. ? See how foolish the congress can be? Remember the "double nickel", 55 mph speed limit to "save lives, fuel"? What a joke.

OK..enouth of my blathering.

Pss... If you have any comments, complanits or just want to harass me... spongybull@yahoo.com

Fair enough? ;-)
