Can I choose which default I want violet or hazel to replace? Or will they replace all the defaults they are categorized in?

katreina, you can choose your defaults as you like, but are limited to which Maxis colours for which I have each of lovebottle's available. For example, your options for Brown are mbrown, brown, and dbrown, but not all. Do not extract the entire Defaults .rar into your Downloads folder, or you may have game corruption.
I hope I was clear enough.

I love this whole geneticisizing of the stuff! Thank you for all this work, you and Lovebottle both!

If you need a new project to work on, maybe you would consider geneticisizing some of bruno's eyes? I love "prettiest" and "moonlit". I think someone already made these into defaults, but it would be so rad if they could have genetic values!

It's no pain to geneticize or townie-enable, just a matter of editing some very simple values in SimPE. I do it all the time because I absolutely must have all my eyes like that. Lovebottle did much more work than I did for this project.
I'll think about doing Bruno's, but I don't think I'll have time because I miss my legacies and I'm having my internet disconnected on Monday

Thank you? Is the genetic set the same exact ones in lovebottle's (besides being genetic)??

Perfectly clear. Thanks for making these, I've been trying to find a default violet forever.

I'm confused, as they're not the same; when I place them ingame I'm getting defaults with a mix of bruno (look like kylie eyes) and lovebottles; I took out my previous set of defaults and deleted the thumbnail files incase but no, still the same. I also checked with Clean Installer and they show as a mix as described.

That is really weird! I'll have a look, since I was a bad person and didn't test them ingame. Will update post today if I find you're right (which I have the feeling you are)

Do you know which ones exactly? It will shorten the time it takes me to fix.

Never mind...it's kind of all of them. I would like to blame the late time of day I did this, but I don't think that quite covers it.

Thank you, Tramen, and I'm sorry to everyone for the mixup. Please redownload the defaults. Please don't come and burn my house down, landlord wouldn't like it. Feel free to egg my car.

Did you take any other eye defaults out of your Downloads folder first? I just tested them and they work fine for me. Also, do you have custom content enabled?

Yes, I've removed my old defaults. I deleted all my custom eyes, actually, and only have your defaults and lovebottle's jealousy eyes. I think that it's only the brown eyes that show up as maxis defaults, green and blue work, but grey shows up as bruno's eyes. And yes, I have custom content enabled.

I fixed the grey eyes issue, so if you redownload you won't have that specific problem (they shouldn't have been doing it in the first place grrr).
Hmmm, I wonder if anyone else is having that problem. Have you tried have only the default eyes in your DLs folder? Nothing else, no skins no nothing. I've heard of eye sets being incompatible with skins and eyebrows. I really haven't ever heard of this problem occurring with just one colour :S

Yeah, I removed everything. I figured out the problem though, so it's all good.

I found out that the sims I was playing, didn't have any set default color because no one in their family tree had ever had any default color. So they just have maxis brown eyes, and green too. But I've noticed that's only happened with my really old sims that have been there for all eternity. xD

I love these, by the way, I still have them in my game. Haha.
