Thanks for the all of the comments and feedback. I sincerely appreciate them all.

motvet – I especially want to thank you for tip concerning the availability of the one tile lift (I had missed that one), as well as the in-depth feedback after install

I had created the Death Star in fulfillment of a request asking for a setting/stage in a friend’s storyline and not as an average lot, although it is resource friendly and playable. (The view of tree lines, other houses and the road wasn’t a particular concern of his given that the space station was supposed to be in, well, space.)

Unfortunately, given the game’s building constraints, the sphere wall placement had to be created in an octagon, while the majority of “walls” that you do see were shaped out of tiles. (There are actually few walls inside). This wall placement unfortunately prevents a perfect spherical shape when studied from the top and from the diagonal sides.

As for the corridors and levels on the interior, those were outlined for me in his request. Besides, how could I not? The Death Star wouldn’t quite be the Death Star without them.

HK-47: Objection: I am not a problem, meatbag. You and your lack of any organized repair skills are a problem.

I didn't think this was possible but you always seem to push the boundaries in the Sims. No one can compare to the detail and difficulty of your work, ever!

Are you a mathematician or something?? This is INCREDIBLE! I cannot imagine how much work and planning goes into this, I can't even master split levels yet :-P Anyhow, although I am so not into sci-fi lots and high in cc downloads, this is so yelling at me 'download me, me, me...now!!'. AMAZING, there's no word to describe it...can EAxis people even do this?? This alone is WOW. WOW. WOW. Thank you V1nd1 :-) How would the simmer's world do without you? ;-)

I'm speechless, can't even express my emotions. As a long-time Star Wars fan, I adore you right now I'm thinking of moving Loki Beaker there, may the Force be with us.

First class stuff! I'm trying to learn the techniques involved here to build my own spaceships, but I'm struggling with the bottoms. Could you discuss or point us to the right way about making walls that slant or overhang outwards, like you have there at the bottom of the sphere?
