I really like the red tiles you did, those are so gorgeous. I liked the marble textures to begin with but never really built anything that could get away with using marble

And I really liked the Gothic Brocade wallpaper (I think it came with Teen Style Stuff though, and not freetime, if I'm not mistaken)

You're right, I'm sorry; it was... Very late, and I'd been staring at my nightclub for six hours, and then those walls for probably three, by that point. All of the Gothic stuff did come with Teen Style, I'll edit my post to say such in a moment.



Exactly what I was thinking; I thought I'd noticed the exact same thing, that I'd upgraded the walls and floors in a room when I'd had the Simoleons, and Sims liked it better. So why use cheap one simoleon walls and floors? Isn't that cheating? And if you're gonna cheat, why not just pop in one of the codes? I can think of three off the top of my head to get more money, though one I don't remember the exact syntax for. And I don't even cheat.

It's especially bad, I found a gorgeous marble set to use on my community lot packaged like that. Thing is, it's a community lot, so... No worry about cost, but I do have to think about the environment score tagged off the price. Thankfully I dug deeper in the Maxis base walls and floor and found a marble wall and floor I hadn't spotted before. There's an... Odd lack of black marble on this site when it comes to that.
