Hi! Thanks for the upload, it looks great. But I have a big problem placing the house on the beach (connected to ocean) in Desiderata Valley. I only seem to be able to place empty lots on the beach, and then build houses from scratch.

How to place finished houses on the beach? Am I stupid here? My simmie needs a home

Hi, there might be known problems with the beach lots. I built this one in the Bluewater neighborhood, so try if you can place it there. Maybe this tutorial can help you too.

Note: Beach lots require certain tricks to fit in, I usually place an empty lot of the same size of the downloaded one before attempting to put it in place, it helps to "smooth" the hood terrain. Doesn't work everytime though, because sometimes the angle of inclination between the default lot and the custom lot may be not the same, due to variations on neighborhood base terrain, but works most of the time for me.

Following the tutorial Larsson provided is a good thing, mainly for creators. But being hosted at TSR - where I avoid to log in for personal reasons - is a drawback.
Maybe some of the nice people here at MTS2 could provide us one...

can't place your beach houses, the tutorial is gone....such a drag.

This is another lot I have used over and over, even though I now mostly build my own. The interior is fine as-is, or can be shifted around to individual tastes, the lot places on the appropriate style beach terrain with no issues (if I recall, there are three or four types), and there are no routing issues. Thank you, wherever you are. You have been an inspiration to me in my building as well, and have taught me what are positive factors in a build.
