Didn't realize all these mods I was using would be included as most of those don't affect the house. I only referred to the mods I used in the design or that were in the house (the computer used in the house is a standard one & not the Alienware and there's no Christmas tree).

Goody goody lot packaging my FAVE topic =)

Yep modded careers package with lots, thats why they are now included in S2CPI listings. And you would be surprised what else, and why, I urge you to read this thread I posted yesterday about what packages with lots etc. I think I shall turn it into a FAQ - its only going to get worse before it gets better.

The maxis christmas tree is like the coldsore that never leaves, it packages with every lot whether you use it or not. I urge everyone to scan their packaged lots with S2CPI and repacking it before upload!

Nice fun lot btw =)

Nice work creating a clean version of my house, Sims0Maniak. Would have done it myself if I didn't already have a family moved into it (didn't want to include sims with the house and moving them out would have meant refurnishing it all again). Next time I upload a house, I'll watch out for extra mods in the package.

The 2nd floor is actually at 3rd floor height, Cleaner. As for constructing a floating house, it's very simple. You build floors to the height you want by using columns. Afterwards, you just remove the lower floors and columns to create the open space below your house. One warning though, make sure the bottom floating floor is completely finished before removing the lower floors & columns as you can't change anything afterwards without rebuilding under what you want to change.

Lastly, there's a problem in my design that I didn't notice until I moved some sims into the house. Much of the ground floor is a real dead zone as far as environment goes - it causes your sim's environment score to plummet to zero and they continually whine about it. I finally managed to fix this by installing more floor coverings, potted plants, and lights to make it livable.
