Nifty, but I have just one real-world consideration: most competitive figure skaters start as TEENS and hit their stride as Young Adults - very few continue into full Adulthood.

While there are Adult competitions and there used to be Professional competitions ( :-P the ISU), those competitors are NOT eligible for the Olympics.
