Thanks for giving me the idea to mod this for myself. Unfortunately, I want to change multiple NPC ages to different life stages, so I'll be editing the XML myself. But this mod is great! Just a small word of advice--if you could make it bleedingly obvious that you can only use one package from your big long list, it might help some of those with less modding experience.

Hmm, interesting mod. I am really unsure which combos would be more interesting (a child NPC, a teen, or leaving them adult) and it would probably be annoying for me to list all my preferences and then have you make one, and it could get old with other people asking you the same. I've seen a few people make programs that can alter or generate customized packages that set things a certain way. Velocitygrass for example made a program that lets you select which memories get remembered here http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=446281
Perhaps you could make a program that would list all the NPC types and then list the available age categories they could come as ad then generate a package file at the end, or one that could modify a special package with an easy to use interface.
While I realize something like making a whole program to modify a package could be way beyond your programming expertise, or a lot of work even if you could do it, it is just an idea that seems more preferable to both sides then having people ask for what age they want their NPCS at and waiting while you make it.
If making a program is not something you can do, perhaps you could collaborate with someone who does know how to make that kind of program.
It just seems that if you could make such a program, you would never have to make another file like this for specific NPC ages, and no one would have to wait while you made one.

Interesting you should say that I'm currently in the middle of going over Velocitygrass' source code trying to do just that.

Oh excellent, glad to know you are already on this. I will await the day you finish the product. Will it show up again on the front page when it's finished, or will we have to check again on this page to see if it's updated?

I would use this if it only effected the main NPCs that you see a lot of like the babysitter, maid, pizza, repair, Cops, Thief, etc... Also I would really love it if you could also change the genders of them.

Hi. Is this mod still supported? Using nothing but the teen butler one, no other mods installed, i lose the ability to click on the active sim or any computer or phone. By that, I mean that I can't bring up the self menu to do things like change into another outfit or choose an interaction with another sim. The teen maid mod has the same problem. And I know to use only one of these mods at a time, so the problem is some thing else. Maybe an EA update broke the mod. Can you help?

Itd be kool if someone would make a mod for npcs to be used like objects. Put a npc in place like a bouncer or gaurd, thatd be kool... but hey i likes the mod keep it up

just a heads up for people, while this mod is pretty good- its unsupported right now, the ability to click on your sim or the phone seems to be lost when this is installed, especially if you have pets ep.

Yeah, this mod won't work post Seasons - something about the coding changed drastically, and the scripts needed to make this mod work, no longer work. Nothing I can really do about it at the moment, so consider it unsupported

I think that solves the issue I'm having with my current and previous games since having this mod in my package folder...seems like those phone/cell phone/computer/selected sim interactions always stop functioning at 9 a.m. on the first day of a new game. I'm guessing that this mod would have been great back when it was made...
