This is very clever. Can't wait to use it in-game! :D

Very nifty, but why not fix the group meal code, if it is buggy? How is it buggy? Does it crash or corrupt the game, or just not work right? I realize the bug is not yours, and the nice doll is yours.

No, there was not any reason to "fix" the code. It is buggy because the group meal would have problem to recognize its parent, if you understand what I mean. Normally when you create a group meal by spawning it, it is an orphan object and sim won't eat from it unless you command them self. This is what I call buggy. It won't crash your game or provoke any error. If you have any doubts, just shout.

Your great at creating Sim dolls, can you create more with various work poses, from
cashier's, guards, receptionist, bench sitting dolls, police dolls sitting at desk (I had police dolls sitting on chairs for the Sims1 game)

Bezo, I think I created more than 200 dolls. There are bunches of them posted at the site CrazyTown. If they are still online, you can find lots of dolls in a forum I got over there. If any of you are interested to repost them in your sites, be my guest. I doubt I could transfer so many dolls to MTS2 or that they would want them.
Have fun!

Thank you for changing the code so that Sims won't use the replicator autonomously unless they're starving, because that really bugged me about the original. My Sims would use it all the time; as soon as they didn't have any actions queued up, they'd go and get food from the replicator. It drove me nuts.

I have a question, though. If the group meals are buggy and shouldn't be used (but there wasn't any reason to "fix" the code? ), they why not simply edit the TTAB and hide this pie menu option (and possibly also change the autonomy so Sims can't do it autonomously, either)? Then you won't need to change the pain-in-the-neck BHAV, but the player won't have the option to create group meals.

Oh, the group meal is NOT autonomous. You get it only if YOU command it. So there's no reason to change or hide something that depends on you to happen. I didn't make anything about it because, as I explained to the moderators, I used an obsolete object as base for the new object. Simwardrobe made a new table that serves ONLY group meal and it is also not autonomous. Change the pie menu in this case, will have no effect. To make group meals autonomous it is necessary to create a brand new interaction.
When you use the expression wtf, please check first the way things work. I didn't change the things I considered unecessary and if something bothers you, you have my permission to correct it self. By now not even Simwardrobe bit me. I'm not mutilating their work, but adding new features. Have fun!

You seem to have misunderstood what I said. I didn't say that you should change the code just to make group meals non-autonomous (I added the "possibly also change the autonomy" in case they were); I suggested that you hide the pie menu option so that the player wouldn't be able to create group meals, since you yourself said:

In fact to create group meals is buggy and should not be used unless you really want some.
If somebody says that something is buggy and shouldn't be used, to me it means that it's buggy and shouldn't be used. But that's me.

Also, I didn't use the expression "wtf", I used a smiley whose facial expression I felt was appropriate. Yes, the alias for that particular smiley happens to be "wtf", but I wasn't the one who made up that alias.

Let's just smoke the peace pipe. It is not necessary to do what you suggested because it won't cause you any trouble. If it did I would not post at MTS2, I would send it to one of my friends for programming suggestions. I'm not going to hide it because I use it self.
There's a way to create step parents to orphan objects but I doubt you are interested in technicalities. If you casually get one of your sims to create a group meal, that I don't believe, do the following:
Enter buy mode and get the plate and place it on any surface, a counter, a table, on the ground, it doesn't matter. If you don't have mods to give autonomy to your sims to do things (I have), click on the dish and command him/her to store it in the fridge, if you have the proper EP. If not, command your sim to eat, dispose or whatever you feel proper. Anyway do not leave the plate on the object, it will stop other sims to use it. The buggy that happens is not my fault, not Simwardrobe's either, it is a weakness in the game original code and very difficult to repair.
Have fun!

Thanks, this is a cute idea and I remember the replicator from Sims1. My question is, will this work at University? I used the meal one there forget what it's called) and it was great except having to get everyone together and eat at the same time.

Would it be possible to change the butler's looks with mods?
