Thanks Although you're probably choosing the wrong guy to make a request for you because I'm a bit of an amateur bodger . I'll have a go for you by all means , but if it has any intricate designs or anything ..... it may take me quite a while ..... I'll do my best that's all I can say :D

did the seat recolour properly or is it a blue blob like other people's drum recolours turned out...? i'm dying for someone to make a silver sparkly kit and a red kit, like my dad's drum kits.

In my game the seat is black along with the drums . I hope it is for everyone else too although obviously it's impossible for me to know that . I don't seem to have had any reports back from any downloaders about the seat being blue though , so hopefully that's a good sign I'll make an attempt at a red one for you tomorrow on my day off from work , although I wouldn't have the foggiest at doing silver sparkles in Paint Shop Pro so I'll just stick to attempting the red one

the newest version of SimPE can re-colour the drum kits correctly including the seat showing up. there's some nice re-colours here all free

I'm glad you found those , and that there's a red one amongst them Tornado , because the red one I've tried just doesn't seem to want to work . It shows up as the Maxis ' wood/leather effect ' looking one even though I used the Maxis green one as my recolour base , which kind of baffles me :/ At least Katygrl can get a red one from there and mix them with whatever skins she has or downloads from wherever I'm stumped because the black ones work fine :/

if you use the latest version of SimPE you can use the wizard to re-colour and it will make the seat appear correctly previous versions didn't. and i agree those drum kits are awesome!

I used the latest SimPE for the black drum kit I made in this thread and that works fine along with it's seat too . The problem with the red one I was attempting wasn't the seat , it just wouldn't show up at all and the woody coloured drum kit showed up instead even though I used the green kit as a base , which is a bit of a puzzler :/

You need to have the EP ( University ) for this to work because the new musical instruments come with that . If you do have that then just download the file , unzip it and pop the package file into your downloads folder
