Well, I went to this modders tumblr and twitter page and I don't think that they mod anymore. I have no clue on how to update this mod and I'm not even sure if anyone would be able to and then upload it without permission. I would love to see this updated. With Discover University, the second I loaded into a lot with one of the build a shower items in it, I got a last exception...which is a shame cuz I liked the flexibility of making my own showers and using wall curtains and MOO.. side note, IDK if this is a no-no or not but there is another modder that has something...it's only two objects, a tub, and the showerhead...similar but less extra bits like the glass panes. but here is the link https://brazenlotus.com/outdoor-shower-tub/

the program mentioned hasn't been updated for Discover University just yet. However, maybe, following those steps may fix the issue...maybe. I only thought about it since I also use better exceptions mod and it specified which mod and that a batch fix might fix the issue. IDK cuz I haven't tried it yet since the Sims 4 Studio program hasn't updated yet. But I will try it when it does. I will post back with more info.

Sims 4 Studio has now been updated to include a shower batch fix. You want version 3.1.3.0. Just follow the steps in video linked above, but select 'Fix CC Showers' instead of the 'Cats and Dogs' option.

I wish there was a way to update these to use the animation from the new Uni freestanding shower.

I had the same problem, but the batch fix from Sims 4 Studio did fix it.

Worked like a charm, DL'ed Sims Studio and ran the fix and all the showers work perfectly again.

So if anyone's still having trouble with the showers not working after running the batch fix, make sure that you are not using the merged version. I originally had the merged file and every time I ran the batch fix it failed and in game would give me Last Exception errors. I then download the separated version, ran the batch fix and now all my showers are back to working in my game.

Being it seems MadHox has gone AFK, which does happen in the modding community. I didn't try the merged version fix that was referenced. But I did run across a rebuild of this mod over at https://www. loverslab .com/files/file/11550-build-a-shower-reborn/

Hopefully posting this link is ok, just trying to help those who have this mod and the errors. And wish to continue using it :)

This mod does not work work for me, every time that I place a shower head it just disappears and steals my money. Anyone else having the same problem?

Because of a glitch, it's indeed placed, but it's not visible at first. It may appear after you jump from Build to Live mode, or more reliably, exit to Manage World and jump back in. Annoying, but it still works otherwise.

just me i guess but i have troubles putting some of/all shower heads. they just dissapear. thoughts why?
