Unfortunatley, I don't know how to upload images here in the comments section (edit: i am stupid, nvm xD)
There is the Library File in the rar file. You have to put the package into in the library folder in your sims 3 folder^^ but i bet you know that.
I build it in a new opened world, where I have never been in the live mode. After i saved it to the library i tested it in live mode, everything works fine.
This bridge is just a base (so you don't have to fight with constrain floor elevation), the lot is not decorated or anything, because I want you to get creative (:
I don't know your taste, so decoration is up to you!
You need the pets expansion, but you need it anyways for the world to run.

If there are any question or if something isn't working as it should, you can ask of course (:

I downloaded Nilxis' version ages ago and I really liked it. Your version suits me even better because I love tiny maps, thanks for your efforts

Thank you so much for this. I love Hylewood but it was tiny and always ran out of space! I'm currently in the process of building here

Pretty decent. It looks a little weird in the corners of the world cause land isn't usually a 90* angle and beaches aren't usually super round. My question is how you got the water to look so good in some of the screenshots.

Thank you for your feedback. I've often tried to build a world from scratch, but i suck at terrain-sculpting, especially creating beach areas, I also wasn't that much satisfied with my version of the "hills" around the island. Nilxis did a perfect job when he created the rocks and hills, and I tried to recreate it, but I think I am better at decorating and planting trees^^
To answer your question: I took those screenshots without ANY mods in game. But ALL my graphics settings are set to the highest possible!

@Zira-Alestar
sorry for the late reply, I wasn't active on here the last few months ):
You have to go on the hard disk you installed sims 3, e.g. for me it's D - then Electronic Arts -> The Sims 3 -> GameData -> Shared -> NonPackaged -> Worlds
If you are right, there is already Sunset Valley in this folder. Just copy/extract Hylewood (in package/world format) into the Worlds folder.
I hope this helps!

I'm not sure what is wrong, but I cannot save when using this world. The save file shows up in my doc files, but doesn't appear in my main menu.

@PrincessZeda

what was the name of the save file? if you saved it as "hylewood" it won't work, try saving it with another name. this is a bug on EA's end, i have the same problem when saving a game with a worlds name ^^
