Beautiful, I have been looking for mermaid tails recolours but all I could find were simple or too "sparkly". Im glad you posted this.

Hey, since you asked for inspiration, why not nude tails, or skin colored ones. Sure still leave a little shine for the scales, but make it look like it matches their skin (no don't include certain body parts)

I'm a bit weirded out by the idea of skin colored tails sorry!
