Thanks for your efforts, you are absolutely right. It is far too easy to earn money using collectibles in this game.

Due to a bug that has cropped up in the last few months, it's possible that if you use one of these items in a lot to upload to the gallery the lot will be flagged as containing custom content. Generally that is not supposed to happen, but it might. If you are trying to upload a lot and it is flagged as containing CC, try removing this mod to see if that solves the problem.

That is actually not a bug. Your mod contains default overrides for collectibles, so the natural consequence is that lots using these will be flagged as containing CC. It has been like that since like forever.

By the way, your packages are way to big. You only need to keep Object Catalog and Object Definition of each object to acchieve what you intend.

Dude it's bienchen! I'll look into what you said, I am brand new to modding and don't know exactly how to accomplish this so I'll do some googling and reupload the packages when I figure it out.

If you're using Sims 4 Studio to make your overrides, open up one of the packages and go into the Warehouse tab. Select everything except Object Definition and Object Catalog and hit "Delete".

You'll be left with just the data you want to override!

Edit: whoops, screencaps came out much bigger than intended, lemme swap in smaller ones. Also a compatibility note for the curious- both this and BrazenLotus's harvestable overhaul modify the Object Definitions for harvestables, so those probably aren't usable together. never mind, I was poking about in the files myself to nerf just the biggest offenders among the plants (ie. DRAGONFRUIT,) and that mod modifies the *plants* but not the fruits themselves. Should work together just fine!

Thank you the amount were indeed ridiculous; to the point where I never sent any of the kids pick anything because it felt too cheaty!

Thank you so much!! This mod must have come with a LOT of effort (I could only imagine the amount of resources you had to modify). I had been using the other mod like this by Satira (Realistic Prices (Lower Collectible Prices)), but it was deleted with the explanation that it was too much work to keep it updated. I was in grief, because I am attempting the rags-to-riches challenge, and I had to halve the money my sim received from collectibles by hand (with the money cheat), because for me the game without challenge is boring, and money come way too easy in this game. But now you've made me really happy, thank you!!
@DClick thank you for clearing out the conflict and for your tips!

Hi, thanks for this mod! In my game, I have an issue with it though, which disappears as soon as I remove the mod. Some crystals and metals (not all of them somehow) don't appear correctly anymore. In the inventory they look fine but placing them in game they all look exactly the same (i.e. every crystal looking like Citrine / every metal looking like Heavy Metal).

As of RoM, this mod makes it so Spellcasters can't duplicate collectibles with Copypasto.

I wonder why those free plants give so much money. Is there a mod to disable free plants arount the map? Or lower their prices? It is so silly that Every day I can pick strawberries or roses etc. and get the ammount of daily salary! This is so dumb! Help me fix that.

THANK YOU! I love this mod so much that, when I started again after a hiatus during which I'd moved computers and only managed to partially move my mods, I was upset when I realized this was among the mods I failed to transfer and hunted it down again quickly. Finally, an actual challenge for moneymaking!

Thank you for the mod! Is anyone else having an issue that all metals are gray?

Any way this mod could get updated?

Unfortunately, this doesn't work with the Fizzing Juice Station, the cheaper ingredients don't get recognized so you can't make juice. Which is a real bummer. Anyone know of a fix/updated version?

I really like this in terms of the pricing, but it broke the visuals of most collectibles. metals are all gray, all posters have the same image, all snowglobes look the same, most crystals look the same, all relics are the terra cotta version, all crystal skulls are quartz, all golden frogs look the same etc. Unaffected ones are produce, fossils, easter eggs, bobbleheads, aliens, and frogs. Crystals added with DLC look right, and counterfeit relics look right. There may be more that's just what i saw in a couple of my played households that had collectibles on display. I thought maybe it was only ones that had been collected prior to installing the mod, which would be annoying, but not a disaster, even if my homes were rendered ugly for a while, but i went out and collected some new posters and it happened to them as well.
