Thank you!! That was one of the most annoying things of this game for me at least. Thanks for creating and sharing!

The route fail animation is a genuinely useful gameplay feature, as it lets you know easily and at a glance if a Sim cannot route
Removing it is just making the game harder for no real benefit

I mean you do you, but you might as well remove Needs bars or something

The Sims team came up with some of the stupidest animations for some of their activities. That "wave" has always annoyed me too. Thanks for the fix

My thought exactly. The route fail animation is there, to let the player know, that something has FAILED, and needs fixing. If this mod put an end to actual route failure, I would find it more useful.

Don't download it! Easy fix.

You can also clearly tell when a Sim route fails because, as the description says, they cancel out of the interaction. I just think the animation is annoying. Not only would removing the motives be functionally impossible, there would be no way to tell what your Sim's needs are. The same is not true for this mod. Your Sim cancels out, it means they can't do it—to me, it's obvious. But again, if that would be difficult for you—not downloading is an option.

Can't say I understand the rationale of commenting on a mod just to say it's of no benefit, though.

I mean, Sims still cancel out of the action. I can still tell when my Sims route fail. I just find the animation grating.

If the mod isn't for you, simply don't download it.

Also important to note—modders make mods because they enjoy it. I love modding and love putting my creations out there for anyone who wants them. The thing to remember is that we make mods we want to make. When you say that you would find a mod "more useful"—I don't make mods for you. Nobody owes you a mod. Nobody has to care if you find it useful or not.

I got my start modding because I was so annoyed with Discuss Local Fishing Spots. I found that nobody had done it, so I took it into my own hands and got into modding. So, here's my advice: if you want a "more useful" mod, download Sims 4 Studio and Mod Constructor and make it yourself. They're easily accessible and easy to learn, especially the latter. Make the mods you want in your game—it's what I did. It's never too late to learn.

This is a simple but very usefull mod, sometimes that animation gets on my nerves, is the thought bubble still visible despite the lack of animation?

It is not. I'm trying to figure that out but have had no progress.

It should be there (the code still contains it) but it doesn't appear.

GEEZUS KHREIST......Did you seriously stop by just to hop on your unnecessary soap box about a goddamn mod. I've been waiting almost 7 years of the Sims 4 life for this mod and I greatly appreciate it. If you didn't need it or want it.....simply keep on moving until you find other mods and CC you like.

In reality, if you can't get by, you say excuse me or move the shit out of the way.......you don't need these fake little animated people waving and flailing their arms to signal a route fail just because the Devs get off on adding the dumbest, most annoying things to this game. If the route fails, I can see it disappear in the queue, I don't need that b.s waving because quite frankly thanks to Extreme Violence mod, I've lost alot of Sims to violent deaths when they do that stupid shit. I didn't spend time in CAS to make these simulated shits for them to have the audacity to yell at me because I put the toilet too close to the tub and they can't take a piss......Same for their motives being low .....If they gotta pee......go pee...autonomy is set to 'on'......if there's a puddle on the floor......F--king MOP IT........Hopefully this also stops NPCs from waving when they are hungry......How in the actual f-ck can I direct you to eat if I'm not playing that household at the moment.....

Thank you OP for the mod and really hope you keep it updated after patches and keep it going........ There's plenty of mods on this site I don't think are necessary or useful but I certainly didn't stop by the comments to vomit on the modder.

Let's stop everything because you self-indulged losers believe it shouldn't exist......

As far as I remember, there was a no route fail mod in every iteration of the Sims. Thank you for making it.

Yes. yes there was. I know I made one for every version of the game since 2.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to release this. I had one I made for myself, which I never released, figuring someone already did, because I was late to Sims 4.

But hey, now someone finally has.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I cannot accept, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

Great mod, the animation (among others like the cleaning one from bust the dust is annoying). Thank you for your mod!

Thank you for this mod. I can tell when they failed to route without the accompanying animation that literally grates on my nerves so I find this very useful and helpful! Really appreciate you sharing this!
