This is so fantastic! :lovestruc

By bringing these structures over to TS3, it feels as though TSM is being given a second chance at life. Even as static buildings, they make incredible landmarks. Anything else you care to convert would be very welcome indeed!

As someone working on a medieval world I have to thank you profusely! I have been dreading getting deeper into the build phase, now I don't have to!

ETA: The boulders all show up, seawall, pavement, pier, and port stairs all show up when typing "TSM", but the rest sadly do not.

Hmmm that’s a bit strange, I’ll have a look into it, it may be because I use supercaw which unlocks everything, I think that might be the cause. I’ll check it and update the post if that’s the issue.

As a converter TSM>TS4 I know the mining/sifting you have to do to find all the files, and the shells are the worst, as they have so many meshparts and textures. I am already in the process to use your work for conversions to TS4 (will of course give credit!) - we will soon have a CAW mod (already in testing) and they will be SO USEFUL. Thank you!

I have the same issue, only Rocks are showing up, the rest sadly not, however, as u mentionned, I installed SuperCAW, but still not showing up...On supercaw, is there something to do, for unlock everything in metada list in game ?

I will have another look after I get back in from work, the only thing I can think of is is you don’t have the main expansion pack the objects are all cloned off. I believe it’s supernatural but I will have to check.
The item they are cloned off is the old mill from the debug category as it has enough groups to hold most of the texture and mode files and is a good base file to use. If you don’t have this expansion pack the content wouldnt be showing in caw, even if you installed supercaw.

I have ALL expansion pack, even Store content though

Oh well I’m really perplexed now! As far as I can tell it should be showing up, can you show me your caw version number at all and I’ll have a look later on

Did you install as ts3 files or did you convert to package and put into the crest a world folder? I convert all mine to package format and don’t tend to install the ts3 files, just checking off options

I installed it and converted as Package format, and I place it on my Mod folder from my documents, I created a Mod folder for CAW folder from my documents and placed there = None of theses action works unfortunately, only rocks , pavements, rail are showing up, but not the buildings and towers.
Last try i could to do is to install it as Sims3pack and see if it will works...

Ok when you made the folder in the create a world directory did you edit the resource file to add this text to the bottom of it?

Tried it and still doesn't work, I just precise to be clear it s IN GAME it s not showing up from Edit Town mode and communauty Misc/items , only Boulders are showing up
Otherwise in CAW or SuperCAW all are listed in metada list, but in game, only boulder works , the rest not.
The big question is , In CAW , is there an option or a tip to do, for Unlock anything, effect, others stuff IN GAME ?

Ok I’m with you now, the way these items were designed is that they were to be used in world creation in caw only, they are mostly coded to NOT appear in game as it would over populate the menus with items that normally would not be used.
As such they will not appear in the edit town menu in game. The only way to override this is to edit the obdj file via S3PE and change the flags to make it show in game.
As such these have been tested where placing them in a world in caw while constructing it and saving and playing that world they show up.
Hope this makes it clearer and sorry I didn’t get it first time round!

Okay, I will try to edit obdj via S3PE , then I will use your medieval stuff directly in my France World in game

Note: For thoses who wants buildings, all stuffs showing up in game and Edit Town , just use S3PE to open mod package > click on any OBJD tab > down to screen , click to "Grid" Button > look for "BuildCategoryFlags" and just before that word , click on ">" and select to True in the destination where u want it to show up (I keep mine to Rock on True)

My bad, it was SuperCaw that was necessary. Using SuperCAW fixed my issue. The only item with any issue I can see is the item "TSm Castle Royal gate" is invisible, but casts a shadow, even if zooming really far away.

Yeah I’m looking into that one, I will probably remedy it and update as I’ve noticed a few bits on the mesh that need tidying up

Default The Sims3pack TSM Red Scallop Roof crashes my game launcher.
The Sims3pack TSM Red Scallop Roof crashes my game launcher when I try to install it. The other Sims3pack install without problems. I'm with Origin.

If it is doing that in install then I would recommend that you install that as a package file and not as a sim pack, also check you have all the required packs just in case. The scallop roof does work fine in gameplay so not sure what the issue would be there.

I don't suppose some kind soul would care to make this set usable in 'Edit Town' mode for those of us without CAW and S3PE abilities? I realize it's been two years since this was uploaded/updated, but a girl can dream
