Does this work like an apartment building, NPCs "living" in it, too?

Yep, that's made like with EA's Late Night high-rises! You can ring in those doors to call your neighbors ;)

It's been a while since you create it, but only today I've seen it. Great work! <3

Some time ago I've tried to do the same with my family of 4. I wanted each one of them had their own house. I built 4 houses in a 64x64 lot BUT when they arrived at home, all of them went to only one house. :/
I couldn't manage it for them to use their own house... So I bulldozed it and built only one big house.

Yeah, it's frustrating that apartments were so good in The Sims 2, and how they've included them in TS3. But we got something in return

I wanted several houses, like condo... and that I could control all of them, since they're only one family... but...
I've tried, years ago, play with apartments, but it's not my ''cup of tea(coffee, please)''.
