Sorry to hear that- looking at your specs it looks like you're missing sever SPs that are used- normally that shouldn't be a problem since only EPs are actually required, but I wonder if that, combined with just being a very large lot, may be too much for the game engine to handle concurrently...

Does this lot have anything from the IKEA EP?

Yes, a number of IKEA items are included, particularly in the office and warehouse areas of the building. Supposedly items from SPs will just not appear if you don't have the required SP (unlike EPs, which change how the game handles files and won't work properly if you don't have all that is required), but I haven't ever been able to confirm this!
