Glad you like my creations, and doubly glad that you're learning things from my approach! I don't have any current plans for a modern mansion since usually 'modern' styles inspire me to make a penthouse apartment rather than a freestanding house, but my Whitmore Estate is a somewhat more modern version of that kind of grand country estate, at least on the interior. And eventually I'll need to start creating houses for the suburbs in the hills around Cascadia, so I may eventually make something like what you're hoping for!

I understand what you're saying, I've been looking at some models of what I'm looking for inspiration, but I broke down thinking "I'll never be able to build something of this level" hahahahahaha, and I researched these suburban houses to which you refer, I liked it a lot, I am absolutely sure that soon you will achieve something in my expectations. And I suffered a setback today, I downloaded a lot of RamboRocky90 that I really liked, and just when I had finished decorating one more floor, the game closed by itself in my face, and I lost all progress, and the worst it's just that I was already having a feeling that I should have been saving progress little by little as I built hahahahaha. I'm having some weird intermittent lag/stutter on this that's very consistent, about every 1-2 seconds. Also, the camera is insane, is there a fix for this or a way to make it less crazy when moving past a floor?

I'm not sure what the cause of the lag would be other than just the fact that it's a large lot, especially if you're playing on a laptop or older desktop... As far as the camera though, with skyscrapers I always find it a lot easier to control if you play at a lower angle and higher zoom than you probably would in a more traditional lot- essentially play from INSIDE the apartments rather than ABOVE them. Getting too far outside the external walls of the building is when you tend to see the camera sort of fall off the building.

I am always a big fan of your residential skyscrapers. I always liked the way you furnished the penthouse units. Good job on this one!
