For some reason, after installing it (V2), the teenager Sim living in Sulani cannot eat the island dishes that neighbors bring and dishes at local events. He eats regular food, but he just always holds the local food in his hand until you cancel the action. Without the mod, he starts eating them normally.
I tried it with Sulani culture skill 0 and 5 - the effect is the same - the sim stands with a plate and can talk to someone, but does not eat.
What could be causing this?


Update: I found why this happens: to do this, you need to choose chopsticks as your preferred utensils.

I had the same issue as GhostPhantom where the Sim will pick up food but just then stand there infinitely. I found if I changed my utensil preferences FROM chopsticks TO a fork, then it works.

Hi! I apologize for not seeing this sooner T_T. I'll see if here is a mistake with sims and leveling up the skill when eating. It's also interesting it's only at the events. I'll take a look at this

Wow glad you posted this i just narrowed the problem down to the mod but i didnt know how to fix it! I love the mod and was gonna keep it anyway lol but now ill try this he was using chopsticks!

I did a 50-50 to narrow down a mod that was breaking residential rental lots in Sulani and it turned out to be this one. Obviously the ones on the beach don't and shouldn't work, but the inland lots are not possible to make into apartments with this mod for whatever reason. Hope this gets fixed soon!

Hello! Just fixed this issue in the new update. The Residential Rental lot type option should now appear when building in Sulani. Sorry for the delay!

Thanks for the update! Would you be willing to incorporate frankk's language barriers mod into this mod somehow? Not sure how, just a thought.
