Hi. They're compatible with each other.
My mod replaces the bubble icons when sims are talking/thinking. The "Moodlet Icon Replacement Overhaul" you mentioned replaces moodlets that display on the user interface.

Hi, I installed this mod but for some reason a lot of these aren't showing up for me? I'm not at all sure what's wrong.

Hi. I’m aware that some icons don’t show up in high quality (so far I have encountered clean clothes, sandwich and house icon not being in high quality)

The problem is their IMG file doesn't have “headline” in their name so I’d need to manually search in thousands of files in the .package files. I’ll try to look at it but now I’m quite busy. If I found solution there’ll definitely be an update.

Hi, that's unfortunate. If it's any help I'm noticing it's mostly with icons like the smiling green face, the notebook, etc.

Can you make alternative mod without moodlets icon replacement because it conflict with ''Moodlet Icon Replacement Overhaul'' mod which I currently using it. I love your mod which make it all HD better look but I like the Sims 4 moodlets icon...

The original 1.0 version didn't conflict with that mod cause it didn't replace moodlets. That was changed in 2.0 version. So I uploaded the alternative version that doesn't replace moodlets so you can download it.

Thanks that's awesome! Would it be possible to also upscale pets skills icons? Like this one

Hi. There are 2 different versions
  • ProtectusCZ_HD_Headline_Effects_v2_3 replaces all things mentioned in the description (including moodlets) and it's recommended for most users, this version will receive updates in the future
  • ProtectusCZ_HD_Headline_Effects_v2_1_No_Moodlets_Deprecated is made for people that want to use this mod with other mods that also replace moodlets, it's build on the 2.1 version and it won't be updated
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the mod! the most comprehensive collection of icons you have here. I just wanted to let you know that your mod breaks pet trait icons in their simology panel. Not in a game breaking way though as it only affects the icons and not their text. Icons just get zoomed in and become too big.

Thanks for the feedback. I uploaded new version that fixed this issue. This was caused by EA and their efforts to "optimize" the game during later years of its production. The base game and earlier expansion packs use multiple similar icons for multiple things but as time went on EA started using one icon for multiple things (wishes, traits, thought bubbles, moodlets...). So when one icon is upscaled it may look good in for example thought bubble but it won't fit the UI panel in trait section. Currently I'm aware of some wishes icons being too big when you hover over them (I've seen this in Supernatural and University Life EPs). I'll eventually release update that'll address this but it's long process to tackle everything down.

Considering the size of the project you have taken, I understand that it can take a long time to finish to your satisfaction. For efforts of people such as yourself this game is playable so long after being abandoned and for that I am grateful from my heart.
