Really nice work but when I tried to load the lot my game crashed.

Hmm, that's odd. I tried running it in my game specifically through this download in case that made the lot different from the one I built. I also made sure it was a clean game with none of my usual mods. It took a couple seconds to load the lot for me, but besides that, it didn't crash.
Do you have the Ultimate Collection? Each apartment was pretty much made with a different pack. If you don't have one or more of those packs, it might have caused a crash due to there being too many objects on the lot that the game was trying to replace with something that it does have.
