Hi there! I have worked in Optometry and Ophthalmology and would have put the titles as followed based on a better order to real life: Front desk, Optometric Sales Associate, Optometric technician, Optometric Assistant, Clinical support staff, Ophthalmic scribe, Ophthalmic Imager, Optometry student, Optometry intern, and then Optometrist. That's the way things pretty much go in the eye world where I live. Thank you for the lovely custom careers!

Thank you so much for educating me on this and helping me improve this career! I really appreciate it. <3

I had a difficult time understanding the hierarchy of the Optometry world, so this is a giant help!

I've updated the career files and description, and have credited you for the help as well <3
I truly hope you enjoy these careers

Wow! Thank you! It can be confusing looking in from the outside but I'm an Ophthalmic technician right now so that's the path I can possibly go lol. Technically, Optometry and Ophthalmology are two different things so they could be made into two different careers if you'd like even more realism. Optometry gives you prescriptions for glasses and contacts while Ophthalmology treats eye diseases that can be surgical. Thank you for the credit though, I don't mind offering my assistance if you decide to make them into two careers!
