This is a very nice build. Since it is a lot that I would typically place for a non-active household, I thought I would replace the bookcase door to prevent the "non-routable sim" message form popping up every few moments. However, it won't let me replace with a regular door or arch. Maybe I am over-looking something?

I'm glad that you like what I've created!
As I mentioned in the description I used cheats to build this. Mostly moveObjects. Now, The Sims 3 engine works slightly different than The Sims 2 engine with this cheat on. To place a door there you would have to delete or place somwhere else every object surrounding this door or arch you want to place there. Place the chosen doorway and place back those objects if you want them back.
I hope it helps you!

Ah... I'll give that a try. I've never used moveObjects to build a lot, so that might be the culprit. Thanks again!

I love it when builders take time to add detail and make the lot look as realistic as possible. I'm pretty choosy on the lots I like to download, but your Sims 3 version of the Duplantier Dwelling is marvelous! I cannot wait to put it in my game. I played Sims 4 so I know the house you modelled it after, but I'm glad you took the time to make one for Sims 3! Thank you!!!
