cool idea but it's not realistic at all :-p :$ umpire should be lower than even minor league. "Batter"? Everyone bats.. 1st base, 3rd base, etc aren't based on skill level just specialty..

Not necessarily.. there are some objects that are meant to be hacks, like if you have a teenwoohoo or another game modifier. Some are problematic and cause conflicts.. Stuff like this career, where it's not an intentional hack can potentially cause problems.. This career is overriding a maxis default.

But here's a suggestion. Here's my suggestions on "Levels" with the pay they should be receiving (Based on real life pay)


1) Mascot - $ 89 a day ( 3 days a week, 5 PM- 9PM Hrs.)
2) A Starter - $114 a day ( 4 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
3) AA backup - $166 a day ( 4 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
4) AA Star - $189 a day ( 4 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
5) AAA backup - $196 a day ( 5 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
6) AAA All-Star - $236 a day ( 5 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
7) Major League backup - $972 a day ( 5 days a week, 1 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
8) Major League All-Star - $2,453 a day ( 5 days a week, 2 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
9) Major League Veteran - $1,056 a day ( 5 days a week, 2 PM - 8 PM Hrs.)
10) Major League Coach - $539 a day ( 5 days a week, 12 AM - 9 PM Hrs.)

That's pretty realistic. Players career rises,then drops.

This definitely works with the base game. I have several of my sims with this carreer. I love baseball. It is the greatest sport, unlike soccer, the worst sport.
