Now it's been a few years since I read Merrick, and I see you're well aware of the fact that she's from the "black" side of the Mayfair family. Don't interpret this as an insult because she is lovely.. but.... *shrug* Maybe I'm just being picky. This wasn't how I envisioned her. But then again that's what's so lovely about books! We can create them as we see fit unless they're described in intimate detail! She is very beautiful, but I won't be downloading her.

She is from the black side, her mother and others before her made sure only to marry white men to produce lighter children. It was stated in the book that Merrick had very light complected skin and had such a white appearance that people were shocked when she spoke so frankly about her black heritage.
I think it's a great Sim and does look just like her =)
