Oooh coolness. I know they are unrealated but I do know it is requested and maybe you can do it, but can you make a mod that speeds up candlemaking?

I have actually been working on it, but the tuning for candle making is odd. If/when I work it out I'll post it.

Thank you so much for that!! I thought I was as simple as cutting the time down. But I could not, for whatever reason, get Sims 4 Studio to work, to try to look at it, let alone to try to learn how to do mods for Sims 4, even simple recolors. My mods are for Sims 2 are clothing alterations for ‘Fricorith’s’ clothes. For Sims 3, it was code corrections to fix up the 4 seasonal gnome spawns so that they can spawn out, and other rare gnome spawns, and choices for higher or lower amounts of those spawns.

It usually is but you need to find the right XML file and I'm struggling to do that, there's a completion time part of the code and you just lower that. I'll probably find it eventually. :D

Thank you for coming up with this mod. I thought knitting in Sims world took too long.

Thank you! I'm really glad someone did this. I also would love a candlemaking one. Sims just stand around for HOURS waiting for wax to dry. I don't know what EA was thinking, but my candles burn out faster than I can make them... and candlemaking can't even be a good Plopsy side hustle with the amount of time it takes.

I think this mods conflicts with Lotharihoe's knitting sit fix.

Whenever I have this mod and your mod both at the same time, My Sim doesn't knit at the pool but she doesn't knit at all. The progress bar goes EXTREMELY slowly (it doesn't move really) even if I have the fastest version of your mod.

Just thought to let you know.

Hey there, we both edit the same tuning files, so there's no way to prevent this from conflicting. I'll add this as a known conflict. Thanks for letting me know. :D

Although time flies in the game, the Sims always seem to take too long to do things. This mod is so helpful that I'm going to have my little Simmies knitting their fingers to the bone. Ha-ha.

Does this mod still work with latest patch? It's so handy - I haven't updated yet

My Sim is knitting for the first time since the latest patch, and it seems to be broken.

ETA: After the infants patch and new EP, this mod is working great for me again, so it's possible when I first posted this I had a conflicting mod.

Thank you for this and the cross-stitch mod, Robin, I love them both!

Is the mod broken after the infant update?
