I agree that it is preferable (and more interesting) that the rewards are expensive, to make it more of a challenge to earn them. You could of course just avoid buying them "too soon", but then it leads you (well, me at least) to ignore the rewards store altogether instead. It's better that you have to work for them. That also helps making the various sims more diverse, as you may decide that "this sim needs this reward soon, and that sim should have that other reward".
And if you really, really need to equip a newly created sim with a certain reward to make it fit a certain backstory, there are still cheats and mods that help you get around the higher prices.

Brilliant!!! Magnificent!!! Not only you create a good challenge and make this traits more a really reward, and at the same time resolve the problem of having the stack of a lot of points. Like already say simple brilliant!!!
Now i just need to find a similar mod for the build/buy sections, because those 2 are very cheap too, specially the build, that one i really think that need be more expensive than now.

Unfortunately, this mod is broken. Hopefully, the author will find time to update it soon.

After lots of testing, I was able to find out that the mod does work but it conflicts with Bienchen's Whim Overhaul (the Base game module). If you have her mod in your Mods folder, the rewards prices reset to default settings.

But because Radiophobe is probably still very busy and has not updated this mod yet, I decided to share the file here for everyone same as me. Keep in mind that I will take down the file if Radiophobe likes me to.

The package was created with game version 1.92. I tested it ingame and did not find any errors.

The mod still worked but was missing a trope remover potion reward. I added it and raised the cost.

Mod version 1.96 is still working, but I adjusted two rewards to a higher price as they still showed the original amounts: 'want refresher' and 'fear be gone'.
