This mod adds seven of the EA dyed/non-genetic hair colour swatches (White, Grey, Pastel Purple, Hot Pink,
Dark Blue, Turquoise and Green) for all base game toddler hairs and eyebrows. Toddlers can now inherit these
hair colours from parents.


Last tested compatible game version is 1.27.80.1020 (02/02/2017)

  • 7 new textures for the 5 base game toddler hairs + matching swatches for the bald hair. That's 42 new hair options for your toddlers.

Installation Instructions
Download the latest version (v1.10) of the zip file, extract the package and place it in the mods directory. Further instructions are available under the Install Instructions tab.

To update, remove the previous version of this mod first.

Issues
  • Genetics didn't seem to want to work without the AllowForRandom tag on, so you may encounter random pink haired toddlers in your game. Sims4Studio has a batch fix you can run on packages to disable this tag if you want, I assume it works on packages grouped together in S4PE.
  • I haven't tested to see if babies born in the game and then aged up into toddlers will inherit these hair colours.

Long Term Goals
  • If any new hairs/eyebrows are released in expansion packs, they'll get the same treatment.
  • I don't have any of the stuff or game packs atm, I don't know if I will be getting all of them, so please don't ask for me to do x stuff or game pack. If someone does, let me know so I can link to those here.
  • I did this by hand so I guess, make a batch process for photoshop to automatically hue adjust textures to EA swatches. I mean I should have done this anyway but I'm dumb.
