I have been wanting to create an University subhood so I needed a "small" map to start it off... But I also was really obsessed with the idea of having a waterfall, a bridge and hills! Of course I had to install SimCity 4 and create it. For that, you get "Aurora", my first custom map! I was listening to Aurora by Jonghyun while creating it, that's why this such different name - I think it's different.
This map comes without any neighborhood decorations, sims or builds. It is up to you to give life to this map! Oh, and you can place beach lots on the little island.
Installation
After extracting the .zip archive, you will get 5 .png files and 1 .SC4 file. Put them all in Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/SC4Terrains. This directory may change, but you have to reach the "SC4Terrains" folder!
Recommended
You'll need a Camera Mod to view the full map and roads!
If you don't know any Camera Mods, Lowedeus has one called Neighborhood Camera.
As you can see in the preview images, I used a custom neighborhood decoration to make this lovely waterfall. This neighborhood deco was uploaded by Numenor and you can download it here: Maxis "Lost & Found" #9: Waterfall & River.
I also suggest Lowedeus' Neighborhood Effects since this mod gives you a sun, clouds and a starry sky at night not only in the neighborhood view but also on the live mode.
