Crappy PC.

Ok, so my computer really sucks. It was fine until I put this high speed internet on it. Now everything runs as slow as solid piss.

I first noticed some issues after I loaded my Photoshop CS3 Extended on the PC. I used to be able to run alot of programs at once. I could have my Sims game, PSCS3 or PSP 9, Yahoo Messenger, my WM Player or Winamp, and the internet open, and have no issues what so ever. I had bodyshop open, I had my internet on (which it's broadband, so it's always on), and my PSP 9 open. I had just opened AIM, and the computer gives me a dialogue box that says it doesn't have enough memory to load my program. It went good for a few minutes, and then my computer cut off.

I reboot, and my internet wont reconnect. I'm on a wireless connection, so I tried to repair the connection, that wouldn't work. I used system restore and restored the settings of the previous day. That got the internet back to working.

My motherboard won't suport more than 512 mb of ram, so I know that is the problem. It's supposed to be able to hold up to a gig, but when I bought a gig of ram, the PC wouldn't boot. So in conclusion, I have to completely revamp my system, or basically build a new one.

I'll need a new motherboard that will support at least 2 gigs of ram, a new processor, graphics card, sound card, and I want to hardwire my broadband so it doesn't loose connection every time the power blinks or something.

I've had alot of problems with these new speakers I bought. They are 5 speaker surround sound (by Logitech). I bought a two channel sound card, since that is what I supposidly needed for all 5 speakers to work. Well, I don't think my crappy ass motherboard supports that either. Because only 3 of the 5 speakers work, which sucks considering how much I paid for this set up.

I also want to upgrade my LCD monitor from a 17 in. to 20 in. The monitor is only two years old, but I might as well upgrade it too.

The last thing I'll need is a new case to put everything in. This old one is a peice of living crap. I liked it for the first year I had it, but now it looks like one of those things from Star Trek. I'd be thrilled to see it burst into flames. I'd like to get a black and silver case with transparent blue sides. I know one like that exists, I've seen it somewhere, just don't remember where.

Lastly, I just got a 200 gig hard drive. Now, why would I need more space than that on my PC you ask? Because I'm crazy. Yes, I'm going to upgrade that too.

In other words, my PC is a peice of junk, I need a new one, and I'll be broke as hell after buying all these parts next week.

Crazy Movie.

Date Posted: 27th Jul 2007 at 1:16 PM

I watched this freaky movie earlier about a little kid that killed off his whole family. I mean, this kid was like 3 years old. He electricuted his mom with a hair dryer, drowned his little sister in the pool, and beat his dad's head in with a baseball bat after he made him fall through a window.

It didn't stop with that either. He got adopted by another family, got a crush on this teen girl, and killed her boyfriend. And that little kid videotapes all of that stuff too.

The name of the movie is "Mikey".

Not long after I watched the movie, my aunt came over to the house with her grandkids. A 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl. Needless to say I watched those kids dangerously close the whole time they were here.

Yeah, would definately say little kids scare me now. I can't handle bloody movies either. I think I almost threw up like 9 times.

My brother liked the movie though. Go figure, he would. The little freak. If I wake up to find him standing over my bed with something blunt or sharp, uhm... yeah

Ok, aside from the freaky movie. Since the Sims 3 isn't comming out for another year, I think I'm just going to redownload everything I deleted. Well, not everything, but a good portion of it. I'll make a separate folder, and when I need to go in game and take pics, I'll just take that stuff out so my game will load pretty quick, then put it back in when I just want to play the game itself. I haven't sat and played the actual game in a really long time. I've been playing Forza on my 360. Might as well have some kind of fun with the actual game itself if I'm going to spend most of my time making things for it. If I don't play the game, then whats the point in making stuff for it? Ok anyways, enough blabbing for today. Later.

Huge Download Overhaul.

*breathes deeply*
*falls to the gound*

Whew.

I just deleted all of my really old downloads. x.x My download and thanks counter reset afterwards, but that doesn't matter. It really really needed to be done. When they cleaned up the debate room in the forums, I figured why not clean up my old stuff as well. If ya'll have any of that old stuff, just feel free to do whatever the heck you want with it.

It wasn't as bad as cleaning my downloads folder out a few weeks ago though... Sheesh... I had to sit and go through a bunch of gigs of CC I didn't want anymore. My game loads in like 3 minutes now. It was loading in roughly 45 minutes. I don't think it loaded that fast when I first installed the thing... Needless to say all I have left in my game are all the recent things I've made, some skins, some hair, and a few meshes I really liked. Maybe about 60 megs worth. It was pure heck, but I'm glad I did it.
