After many years, I finally uploaded something to MTS2, and it was the first non-bodyshop recolour I'd ever made. Normally I just replace textures! I want to upload more, but I'm not really inclined to make things for the sole purpose of sharing them (as I am lazy). I make all my own lots, but they don't tend to have car portals or roads, so I don't think there'd be much of a market for them, and everything else is edited versions of other people's work, which I don't think would ever pass the guidelines. I just look at my profile and think my poor little download is getting lonely with no other friends.
I have some CAS default replacements but they are either so Maxis-match you'd barely notice their presence (skins, lipsticks to a degree) or quite garish (most of my eyeshadows). Apart from this, I have replaced most of the Maxis blue glass with white glass, and the mission light wood with white, but if other people hated them as much as I do then no-one would make blue glass or light wood things, and they do. :/
Right now I'm working on a
Super Cool Awesome Neighbourhood, and I might try and upload it when it's done (maybe). It's my first custom sc4 and it has all kinds of big buildings split into small lots with the LotAdjuster and it's taking
forever to make progress that impresses anyone but me (although my boyfriend and sister are good at pretending). But, again, I don't know if there's anyone else in the world, much less on this site, that wants to play an entirely roadless and carless neighbourhood that's split into 5 mini towns, and if they do, they're probably a control freak like me who'd want to make their own!
I'm going to upload pictures here anyway as I'm quite proud of it and I don't think my sister wants me cluttering up our site with it. XD
