In this case it's a simple recolour. The texture for the water is packaged with the bath tub.
I tried cloning a few of the bath tubs in game, and not all of them use their own texture, so some require a global mod (or a lot of fiddling) to get the bloody look.

I made a global version already, but this is a bit too weird to have in all baths in all homes.

wow, this is creepy. I just watched Stay Alive last week and that was one of the first times I heard of Elizabeth Bathory. That movie kinda freaked me out because of the legend in it. Then in school I started looking up Elizabeth Bathroy everyday...and i showed my two friends in the class, and they were a little freaked out...
