This is total inspiration thank you. A brilliant concept and a breath of fresh air. Sometimes you just have your fill of cupids, winsome Pre Raphaelite ladies or countryside daisies ...all great but you need images with edge as well. Thanks for sharing these.

Oh what a surprize! I collected all the Urania books and I loved the Karel Thole covers.

I still love Deserto d'Acqua (Drowned World) by J.Ballard, one of the most interesting and visionary sci-fi writers.
Thank you for this nice addition, useful for a total sci-fi immersion for my sims and really wellcome in this rainy day. :D

It's a silly thing, but I love how you matched the recolours to the colours of the original paintings rather than put them all under one. They're also really neat looking covers, perfect for my alien-obsessed sims.

Not so silly! It seems you have an eye for detail, too.

When I first learned to do painting recolors, I put a picture that was primarily blue on the "A Stroke" frame. I looked at it in-game, and saw that there was a smidge of bright pink around the edges of the canvas. It wasn't noticeable unless you got close, but it bugged me. So when I did this batch, I tried to match the colors as best I could. It's not perfect, but at least it's not a glaring difference.

Thank you! ^_^

Did you do the paintings yourself and took the covers as inspiration, or did you copy the covers for the images and "recolored" the maxis mesh painting with it?

The images come from the magazine covers. If they were my own original paintings I'd have said so I linked to the site where I got the images, in the post--it's a fan site for the magazine Urania. I should probably add a copyright disclaimer.

These are absolutely wonderful.
I feel stupid now... I'm going down the list of downloads, clicking every single painting to download, and I get to the verry last one and what do I find... a much easier way to download ALL of them. LOL. But it's fine now. I downloaded them all one by one... I feel acomplished xD.
Thanks for these amazing paintings! :]]

Do you have an updated CEP? That's the only thing I can think of. I want to make sure they work for people, so if your CEP isn't the problem, let me know and I'll see what I can figure out.
