Why? What's preventing you from using XML Injector?

If you don't like it, you don't have to download it. They added the bowing back in for people from Japanese culture, not to disrespect Korean culture. Shrines are meant to be respected and there are people that want to respect them in the game. This is the internet -- you have a choice to walk away.

I made the mod for people who need/want it, it's not to disrespect anyone because it's a completely OPTIONAL mod with optional features, unlike how it was before with EA where it wasn't optional. I'm not hacking people's games to add it back and forcing it on anyone, so please stop acting like I am. If I had made this with my own tools before SE, no one would have batted an eye or complained because it would have just been "another mod". The oppressive and hateful behavior needs to stop, and shame on the people doing it.

Again, if you don't like it move along please. People just want to play their game in peace.

I don't have Snowy Escape yet, but thank you for this. I was so disappointed, when EA removed this interaction from the shrines. Why make a Japanese themed pack, then remove something present day Japanese people do, regardless of religion? Thank You, so much!

For those popping in to the comments, someone let me know that the bowing is not working on bought shrines. I need to figure out why first and will have an update out when I can to fix that.

thank god, finally someone did it, ive been waiting for this since EAs action of removing it, which was totally sucked. thank u for doing this, and is there chance that get the pattern back? which also removed from the traditional Japanese kimono and some furnitures too. Please! that patern is so beautiful meaning peace and serenity.

I saw that in the removal list on SimsCommunity, facepalmed, then questioned a lot of things. I'm still deciding about it, but if I did I'd be changing it a bit so that it's not done by just any sim unless they meet certain requirments, etc. But, first I'd have to actually find it, and if it's not in the files I probably won't bother to be honest.

I made this mod for people to have in their game for whatever reason they needed it, it's not meant to show disrespect or continue the animosity between both groups, and there is really no reason to post comments like that. We should all strive to be kind to one another, even when we disagree or clash.

As for the textures, I did do the kimonos but wasn't planning to release it in an official post. I made them as new swatches, which you can grab here. I did not do the furniture though, as I only saw 2 textures for furniture and they were beds, I hadn't seen anything else when I was digging, but maybe I just missed them.

It's just a personal preference: I don't use mods that need other mods to work. Script modding is not something I understand so I prefer to download stand alone mods explained in the description. I don't know XML injector and I don't know what additional effects in the game it makes.

Anyway thank you for your answer and for this mod first. I have to say I don't understand why EA removed this action: this is just about bowing in front of a shrine (really pretty by the way). No one can force a Sim to do it except the player.

As someone who has visited Japan, speaks some Japanese and and has Japanese friends I was very disappointed to see that this wasn't an option in the game as it's a really big part of Japanese culture.

Even though I'm not Japanese, I followed their culture and prayed at their shrines when I visited, most people who show any respect/interest for another culture would do the same.
