About time someone did something with the gardening stuff (aside from Sun & Moon) that uses the Maxis plants.

About Sun&Moon's Seasonal Garden Crops. They plan on updating that set, but it will most likely keep working with this mod even after the update (we discussed it, and we think the plants will remain compatible).

HCDU+ reports conflicts with Simnopke's Gardening Requires Effort (simNopke-inconvenientGardening-plots) and Simwardrobe's Employees Use Farmer's Discount for their employee gardening mod (though to be fair maybe I'll just take that mod off altogether).

The edited honeywell garden plot also conflics with the main mod, is that intentional?

Aside of that, I have been waiting for a mod like this since forever, since I don't like buying seeds out of thin air. And the custom seed feature is awesome!

Oh hell yeah!
I've wanted a way to use "Mod Your Dig" to create a way to start farming from nothing but an empty lot, but the idea of pulling out fully grown Sun&Moon Factory plants from the ground felt super weird and op, so I had it shelved. I can't wait to throw all these seeds into the ground to be solved! Soon my sims will Truly be able to live off the land. Thank you so much!

This. Is. AMAZING!! And weird, because I was just thinking about drying crops to make seeds last night, haha! Gonna be really nostalgic for my Sims 1 days, too, since you had to buy seeds in that game.

Nope, thank you for telling me! There were labels from the main mod there. You may download the updated HW_GardenPlot_Edited file, or just ignore the conflict, the game doesn't care about labels.
I'll look into the other conflicts.

Updated two files

Fixed a typo in the stand's OFB purchase menu (it said Gold badge where in fact it's Silver), and labels in HW's garden plot that made it appear as a conflict in HCDU+

This mod is somehow complicated to relate because: how does this work with juice producer, why are there so many seed types one of a sudden?

So many questions are brainstorming my head.

This mod affects planting and doesn't touch juice or packing crates. The many seeds are for custom plants. If you only want to play with maxis garden plants, you can do that, just don't download seeds for custom plants (or remove them from your folder, if you grabbed the gimme_everything file)

So... Juices and packed crates from EA plants are still available while new custom plants are just to put it into fridge? right?
Aysarth's custom crops seems somehow into your system. Because there are into your list.

Aysarth's plants are on the list, have a better look.
What plants do depends on the plants, see their creator's pages. Some crops are edible. I think, Midge has a custom juicer for her supernatural plants. Aysarth has a packing station. Sun & Moon's plants have their own different functions.

The mod sounds great. Do I understand correctly that I can download just the maxis seeds part, if I don't want custom (supernatural) seeds to change how they work and keep them buyable from the catalogue?
Is it OK if I only get the planting overhaul mod, the stand, the fertilizer, the tray, the garden plot, and the seeds maxis file?

Custom plants will not change how they work, if you download seeds for them. They won't disappear from the catalogue or act any differently. If you use them, you really should get the seeds, you don't lose anything, only gain. Anything you could do with the plants without the seeds, you will still be able to do, and then some. But yeah, if you wanted, you could download only maxis seeds.
