In an unmodded game, interacting with a pet dragon increases your sim's Social need by a tiny amount. When I made a mod to make interacting with a baby increase a sim's Social need, MyLittlePuny at Reddit asked if I'd make one for the dragon, too.

So this mod makes it so that using the Groom, Pet, or Tickle interactions with your dragon will increase your sim's Social motive. Groom increases it by a small amount, and Pet and Tickle by a bit more. So now if you live alone except for your pet dragon, your sim can fill their Social needs by interacting with a dragon. I mean, a dragon is pretty darned cool, after all. :-)


If you want the dragon to go back to giving your sim only a tiny amount of social, just remove the mod.

Installation: This does NOT go in your Downloads folder; put this in your Maxis\The Sims\GameData\Global folder, and it will override the DragonGlobals.iff file that's inside the Global.far file.

DO NOT PUT THIS IN YOUR DOWNLOADS FOLDER, BECAUSE IT WILL NOT WORK THERE.
