Default Looking for Waterwheel from Snickers Sims
I am looking for the waterwheel from www.snickersplace.com/sims.

The site hasn't popped up on any of the lists and I wondered if they had a change of identity and I should be looking for another name. For instance, Annie's Sims became Mintha's Garden which became Hooty Holler. If I was a suspicious person, I'd wonder why they kept changing identity. I've come across a couple of other sites that changed names as well and wondered if I should be looking for the waterwheel under a different name.

Do you have a picture of it? It helps to post the picture as well. Sometimes people remember it by how it looks, remembering where they saw it first, not by its name.

The site ceased to be in 2005 -- so you won't find the site archived in the current archives (they were first made around 2010). The only chance is that someone has saved this object on their computer.

Unfortunately no picture. It was supposed to be on Sims Middle Earth also, which was a Yahoo group that wasn’t on any list of backups I found. I saw the website was short lived, which is why I hoped the creator had rebranded themself on a new website.

Thanks for looking.

Still looking. My research also revealed that it was first published in a Yahoo Group, and then added to the site. If it's going to be anywhere archived, it will be in this section:

https://archive.org/download/sims-1...Yahoo%20Groups/

It was this user's, Lynda's, first creation, and shared once in the Yahoo Group they were active in (Sims Middle Earth), and then for a year on their site. Then the site was shut down about a year after their cat, Snickers, passed away, in 2004.

There's no record that they ever created a new site, or that they continued playing The Sims and modding for it, unfortunately.

If anyone has a water wheel for The Sims in their game, or if you've seen one somewhere, please share.

Yes, the tribute to the dead kitty was sad. Another reason I thought she might have changed the site name if “Snickers” was too sad to remember
