I was quite happy that Alexandra won the competition, but I know how you feel - I didn't want what's her name from last year to win, either because I don't think she sounds any different to more established artists. Leona! That's it. I genuinely forgot her name for a moment there, LoL! On the otherhand though, they're all going to get a contract so, in the end, it doesn't really matter. However I wouldn't say JLS are a "boy" band - they're all in the twenties and classified as men so, technically, they're a male band.

I didn't watch it, I found it totally unfair and the voices of the competitors didn't change at any major rate.

Im so glad that little troll boy didnt win. I mean, come on! He coudldnt even sing. Most of the time he did 'The High School Musical' songs, with about 20 other people singing with him, hows that fair?

I personally think Alex deserved it, she was the best by far. I know she is kind of like Leona, but JLS are just another boy band aswell. Who needs another boy band, IMO.

Some of the voices changed, for example Eoghan became a little better as he became less nervous on the stage, which in turn stopped unwanted quavering in his voice as he sang and everyone, at some point, had backing singers - as do established singers in some songs. Diana, on the otherhand, got worse - but its still a change.

Personally I think Alexandra has a far better range than Leona Lewis, who is more akin to Mariah Carey. Alexandra has a voice much more similar to Whitney Houston or Celine Dion. She was also very cool when singing with Beyonce - how much better was that than bringing on Britney Spears to sing? LoL.

I think like Leona Lewis is a Mariah Carey that Alexandra will be more like Rhianna, some dance tracks me thinks! :P
