Convert lot, I wanted to know if there is a way to convert a hotel lot to a residential lot, I would like to make that lot playable for a family (in this case it would not be a family, it would be 8 strangers), I don't know if what I'm asking is feasible or exists, so I apologize if what I'm looking for is ridiculous.

Yes, open the cheat box (ctrl+shift+c) and type changelotzoning residential then save the lot and exit it. Re-enter the lot and it will be residential.

@simsample I have a problem with that lot, I started playing it yesterday, my working sim's carpool doesn't come to pick him up, so I have to walk to work and I have to check the schedule, the funny thing is that they do bring him back by car, does this usually happen in these modified lots or is it an error in my lot?

Could be something left over from the hotel on the lot (I'm thinking a scheduler or something). Try installing Chris Hatch's lot cleaner. backup your game, then load the game and go into your lot. Grab the lot cleaner out of the catalog (you don't need to place it on the lot- just click it in the catalog, it is in Misc> Misc) then save the lot and exit. Reload the lot, does it work then?
