This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can't Install Sims 2 Patches (Windows 8.1)
The title says it all. I've had a heck of a time with Sims 2 and Windows 8.1. After (using what I assume must be advanced magic spells) my daughter helped me get my Sims 2 game up and running on my new computer (Windows 8.1), we still can't install the patches. Can anyone help?
