This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default How do I find out what files are needed for a hood object that needs external repositories?
I wish to use criquette-was-here's Feverfew hood objects . I have downloaded everything in the requirements list that I could think of as potentially containing textures for the objects I want to use, but some objects still have missing textures. How do I find out what textures they are trying to use? I've found tutorials on how to identify missing files for other objects, but hood objects seem to work differently.

The items in question are the railway goods shed and railway switch pieces. I've downloaded all the hood objects listed as requirements, and I believe I have all their requirements as well.

Yes, the textures that are missing are part of the goods shed's walls and part of the track, so I don't think it would have been the problem anyway.

I just downloaded everything on the list, extracted it all into a vanilla game and loaded up the hood and they work fine for me. So I don't think Criquette forgot to list something, it looks like you didn't download a part.

These are the bits you are talking about?

Sure, you could open them in SimPE and find out what resource is missing, but it probably won't help you to find the download you are missing. Much easier would be to read the download list again and make sure you have everything, I think.

Edit: Also Criquette has a troubleshooting tag for Feverfew- see if your issue is listed there.

I think it would, because as far as I can I've downloaded everything. Can you open them in SimPE and find out which textures they use, or tell me how to do it?

If you look in the TXMT, the texture referenced should be in the file list. Not sure if you'll be able to figure out what you have missing from that, but it's all listed on the download. Remember that some of the dependencies listed have dependencies of their own. It's likely to be another building you're missing.

I opened the goods shed file in SimPE, and the textures it wants appear to be crqtt-zgskn-school-windows-material and moody-vicar-crqtt-zgskn-school-windows-material
But I have the Zagoskin Town Hall & School and ‘Moody Vicar’ Pub hood decorations installed, and they appear just fine in the game. Is it perhaps a file path issue? Can you share the list of the packages in your downloads folder in your working installation?

Hmm, filepath shouldn't make a difference as long as all of the files load for hood objects. Are you running the game with high detail on?

I'll attach my filelist anyway.
Attached files:
File Type: 7z  hacklist.7z (14.0 KB, 1 downloads)
